Schedule/

Hours:

• Day shift (Weekday Mid shift beginning at 10:45 am)
• On call: 3 shifts within every 4-week period

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, individualized perioperative nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring safety and patient-centered excellence.
• Complete comprehensive assessments, implement evidence-based interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Foster collaborative relationships through effective partnerships and communication with patients, families, and multi-disciplinary team members.
• Uphold the highest nursing standards, including adherence to ANA Code of Ethics and state nurse practice acts.
• Participate in clinical education, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and continuously pursue professional competency and growth.
• Lead and support performance improvement initiatives, applying research and evidence-based practices to patient care.
• Manage documentation, promote a respectful clinical environment, and contribute to shared governance activities.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Georgia or Multi-State Compact.
• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an OR circulator in a multi-service operating room.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and adaptability under pressure.
