• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the patient care team.
• Provide a positive and supportive environment and act as an intermediary between patients, families, and care team members.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.
• Support Shared Governance through service on councils or sponsored activities.
• Deliver care plans, applying independent judgment and communicating them to staff as appropriate.
• Maintain documentation of patient assessment, changes in condition, care delivered, education provided, and any incidents or exceptions related to standards of care.
• Serve as an educational resource for patients and families on health‑related issues.
• Embrace patient‑ and family‑centered care to maintain satisfaction among patients, families, staff, and physicians.
• Contribute ideas to identify solutions and support change implementation aligned with better patient quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, staff satisfaction, and organizational financial performance.
• Self‑identify and self‑manage training and development opportunities.
• Foster the growth and development of other nurses through mentorship.
• Support the recruitment of nurses to AU Health and promote the nursing profession.
• Comply with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred;
  Associate's degree or diploma in Nursing accepted.
• Current RN license: either RN‑Reg (Single State) or RN‑COMPACT (Multi‑State Compact).
