Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Role Overview

The Med Surg RN supports a high-impact, multi-campus care team, delivering personalized, evidence-based nursing care. Key responsibilities include assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care, building meaningful patient and family relationships, and driving top clinical outcomes. The role emphasizes teamwork, creating a respectful environment, participating in performance improvement, research, and shared governance. It involves mentoring fellow nurses, applying evidence-based practices, contributing to patient safety initiatives, and optimizing resource management across the patient care journey.

Requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program, RN license, BLS, ACLS, and at least 2 years of recent Med Surg experience. Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems is preferred. Must possess strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, time management skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinical emergencies. Certification in specialty is a plus.
