Role Overview

The Clinical Outcomes Manager (COM) is an advanced practice nurse responsible for leading quality improvement initiatives, ensuring evidence-based patient care, and fostering continuous professional growth among nursing staff. Partnering with leadership and clinical teams, the COM drives system-level enhancements, analyzes quality metrics, and promotes best practices to improve patient outcomes and safety. They apply expert clinical knowledge to evaluate and coordinate patient care, prevent hospital-acquired conditions, and support interdisciplinary care planning.

• Lead and evaluate quality improvement projects, report data, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Apply clinical expertise to optimize patient care and safety outcomes.
• Mentor staff through professional development and quality initiatives.
• Translate research into practice, fostering innovation and clinical inquiry.
• Collaborate across teams to improve processes, resource utilization, and patient satisfaction.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing;
  Master's preferred.
• RN license with BLS certification; multi-state licensure preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience; 5+ years in quality or process improvement preferred.
• Strong clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills; leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze data, influence change, and foster team collaboration.
