Role:
RN Clinical Periop Nurse, specializing in operating room care.
Responsibilities:Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centered perioperative care by performing assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on evidence-based standards. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, partner with patients and families, and support performance improvement initiatives. Serve as a preceptor or mentor, promote research and best practices, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Skills:Must have a valid RN license (single or multi-state compact), BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Minimum five years of direct patient care experience required. Preferred education includes a Bachelor's or Diploma in Nursing. Ability to practice according to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills are essential.
Key Duties:Deliver individualized care, coordinate patient safety, participate in protocol development, support resource management, and uphold professional standards in a dynamic clinical environment.
