Part-Time Oncology Clinical Nurse

Role: Registered Nurse providing quality patient care within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities include: Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; collaborating on care plans; ensuring patient safety and satisfaction; advocating for patients and families; participating in performance improvement initiatives; maintaining professional competence; mentoring colleagues; and supporting shared governance activities.

Qualifications and Skills: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred; valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact); BLS certification; strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills; commitment to confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.

Key Duties: Monitoring patient conditions; documenting assessments and care; prioritizing patient needs; educating patients and families; contributing to quality improvement efforts; fostering a positive work environment; and adhering to organizational policies.
