Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care - MedSurg Oncology FT Nights

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe patient care on an inpatient oncology unit, working within an interdisciplinary team to ensure individualized treatment and positive outcomes.

• Performing the nursing process - assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation - using evidence-based practices.
• Delivering relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
• Partnering with patients and families through effective communication, education, and goal-setting.
• Collaborating with team members, documenting care accurately, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.
• Supporting professional development, mentorship, and participation in research and performance improvement activities.
• Developing protocols, ensuring compliance with policies, and optimizing resource use.

• Minimum of 5 years RN experience with direct patient care preferred.
• Current RN licensure (single or multi-state), BLS certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating critical thinking and decisiveness.
• Proficiency in clinical technology and computer skills.

Associates or Bachelor's Nursing degree preferred; ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
