Emergency Department Nurse Manager, Night Shift

The Assistant Nurse Manager is a registered nurse supporting and collaborating with the nurse manager to lead a specific clinical unit or service.

• Promoting a culture of excellence through staff mentorship, performance management, and fostering teamwork.
• Supporting staff recruitment, retention, and professional development to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participating in budget management, resource allocation, and applying quality improvement strategies.
• Ensuring compliance with clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based practices.
• Communicating effectively with diverse teams, mentoring staff, and facilitating shared governance.
• Advancing clinical competencies, supporting research, and implementing performance improvement initiatives.
• Representing the organization positively within the community and professional organizations.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing.
• RN licensure (single-state or multi-state Compact) and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
• Preferred:
  National certification in nursing administration.
