Role Overview

The RN House Supervisor provides hospital-wide leadership, overseeing clinical, operational, financial, and staffing functions in the absence of senior leaders.

• Promotes operational excellence, ensures delivery of safe, quality care, manages resources, and fosters communication among staff, physicians, and patients.
• Acts as a safety officer, implements performance improvement initiatives, and facilitates emergency response and surge plans.
• Serves as a mentor and role model, ensuring compliance with professional standards and hospital policies.

• Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing or related field.
• RN licensure (single or multi-state).
• BLS certification.
• ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in nursing leadership or supervision.
• Demonstrates strong communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills, with proficiency in performance improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
