Role Overview:
The RN Resident is responsible for completing a 12-month Nurse Residency Program designed to support new graduates with less than 6 months of experience.
Key Responsibilities:Provide individualized, high-quality patient care by performing the nursing process, collaborating effectively with the healthcare team, and engaging families as partners in care. Support performance improvement initiatives, promote evidence-based practice, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Participate in development of protocols, support resource efficiency, and serve as a preceptor or mentor to others.
Qualifications & Skills:Must hold an active RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and Basic Life Support certification. Less than one year of RN experience required. Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills are essential. Proficiency in clinical technology, computer literacy, and teamwork is expected. Epic and 3M experience is preferred.
