Registered Nurse – Med​/Surg Night Shift

Role Overview

This position is for an experienced Med Surg RN supporting a multi-campus care team in a night shift role. You will deliver personalized, evidence-based care, build meaningful patient and family connections, and drive top clinical outcomes.

• Own the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, ensuring high-quality patient care.
• Foster a respectful, collaborative team environment and contribute to performance improvement and research initiatives.
• Mentor and guide fellow nurses and interdisciplinary team members.
• Lead evidence-based practice implementation and participate in patient care decisions.
• Plan proactively across the patient care journey, shaping protocols to improve patient experiences and reduce readmissions.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license (single state or multi-state Compact).
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS; national specialty certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med Surg experience with proficiency in computer data entry; familiarity with Epic and 3M systems is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
