Registered Nurse – Charge, MedSurg

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a key communicator between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient-centered care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, examine, and evaluate patients’ conditions; assist with care planning and execute care plans using independent judgment.
• Coordinate patient flow, prioritize care, and maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and incidents.
• Advocate for patients, address concerns, and educate families on health-related issues, fostering positive patient experiences.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contribute ideas, and support organizational goals for quality and safety.
• Maintain professional licenses, certifications, and pursue ongoing development; involve in professional organizations and leadership growth.
• Mentor and support peers, promote a positive work environment, and uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Associates or Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred; RN license (multi-state or single state)
• Required certifications: BLS (Instructor or Provider)
• Minimum two years of Med Surg experience and leadership experience highly preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills
