Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using critical thinking and evidence-based practices.
- Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
- Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and updates, focusing on patient goals.
- Coordinate safe patient care documentation and promote a respectful, inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with team members, participate in performance improvement, and support shared governance initiatives.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor, fostering professional development and a healthy work environment.
- Engage in research, quality improvement, and protocol development to enhance patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Associates or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Current RN licensure (single state or multi-state compact).
- Certifications:
BLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS (required upon hire). - Minimum of 5 years RN experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies decisively.
- Proficiency in technology and basic computer skills.
Support resource planning, protocol development, and participate in organizational initiatives aimed at improving patient care and safety.
