Champion Safety
. Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.

Operate Mobile Equipment Loaders
. Load aggregates for processing, feed the plant, and safely load customers’ trucks with desired specification product within legal load limits.

Monitor Materials
. Maintain an adequate feed of materials and maintain stockpiles; visually inspect materials for compliance with specifications.

Perform Inspections and Maintenance
. Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and accurately complete daily mobile equipment reports; observe the plant and report any necessary maintenance or adjustments.

Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings
. Monitor the plant and operations and report any necessary maintenance or adjustments that may be required to ensure safety.

• Must be able to work required overtime and flexible work schedule.
• Be willing to work a flexible schedule and customer needs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, or pull, push, as well as bend and lift 45 pounds.
• Must be able to speak, read, and have a working knowledge of the English language.

Skills You'll Need

Experience

• Heavy equipment operator experience is preferred.

• Perform duties safely, responsibly, and proficiently, observing all safety and health rules.
