Distribution Center Supervisor

Purpose of Position:
Responsible for processing material movements within the Distribution Center to support the day to day operations of receiving raw materials and processing outbound shipments to meet customer demand.

• Responsible for keeping safety as the #1 priority in all functions within the Distribution Center, with an emphasis on housekeeping.
• Must comply with and uphold all company rules and policies.
• Forklift operation.
• Proficient with system transactions in the warehouse management system (SAP).
• Load and unload trucks.
• Build shipping boxes and skids when applicable.
• Operate hand tools required to build shipping boxes and skid.
• Safely and accurately put items into and take items out of the racking system.
• Perform cycle counts on a periodic basis.
• Must be able to communicate and work in a Team environment.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

High school graduate.

Proficient in the use of a computer. Experience in warehousing is a plus. Must be detail‑oriented and be able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
