Position Overview

Shipping & Receiving Associate Level
1. Reports to Distribution Center Supervisor. Responsible for processing material movements within the Distribution Center to support day-to-day operations of receiving raw materials and processing outbound shipments to meet customer demand.

• Keep safety as the #1 priority in all functions within the Distribution Center, with an emphasis on housekeeping.
• Comply with and uphold all company rules and policies.
• Operate forklift.
• Proficient with system transactions in the warehouse management system (SAP).
• Load and unload trucks.
• Build shipping boxes and skids when applicable.
• Operate hand tools required to build shipping boxes and skids.
• Safely and accurately put items into and take items out of the racking system.
• Perform cycle counts on a periodic basis.
• Communicate and work in a team environment.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

• High school graduate.
• Proficient in the use of a computer.
• Experience in warehousing is a plus.
• Detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment.
