In this operational role, you will manage relationships with Suppliers and support Engineering through effective communication. As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will guide procurement processes by preparing RFQ packages and ensuring compliance with vendor standards. Your expertise will help Linamar meet production needs efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage procurement of goods and services for production
• Communicate changes to Suppliers and update necessary systems
• Resolve order discrepancies and expedite sourcing needs
• Maintain and monitor departmental reporting and documentation
• Assist in vendor compliance and improving internal procedures
Requirements:
• 1-2 years in a related purchasing or inventory role
• Educational background in Business or a relevant field
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Experience with MRP systems and practical data skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for tracking and analysis
