Drive cost reduction and procurement for MRO materials and services as an MRO Supervisor at Acara Solutions. This position focuses on supplier negotiation and operational efficiency in Stratford, Cambridge, or Guelph.

Acara Solutions is seeking an experienced MRO Supervisor to oversee the procurement of maintenance, repair, and operations supplies. You will lead a Junior MRO Buyer while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and cost controls. This role demands strong market analysis and supplier relationship management to foster a sustainable supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coach Junior MRO Buyer for departmental success

• Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships

• Analyze cost and consumption to support inventory goals

• Prepare RFQs and implement supply/service changes

• Develop new suppliers for enhanced quality and pricing

Requirements:

• 5+ years in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management

• 2+ years in Lead or Supervisory roles focused on MRO

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems

• Post-secondary education in Materials Management preferred

• Experience with lean methodologies is an asset
