MRO Supervisor

Join Acara Solutions as an MRO Supervisor and impact operations in Stratford, Cambridge, or Guelph. Drive procurement processes and ensure inventory goals are met while supporting cost-reduction strategies. This pivotal role involves overseeing the procurement of MRO materials, targeting efficiency and compliance.

You will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and leading a team of Junior MRO Buyers. A minimum of five years of experience in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management is required, along with solid project management skills.

• Support and train Junior MRO Buyers for departmental success
• Prepare RFQs and analyze data to meet facility needs
• Monitor market conditions to optimize purchasing strategies
• Implement supplier quality control and cost-reduction measures
• Maintain effective communication with Operations and Purchasing Manager

• 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management
• 2 years’ supervisory experience in MRO purchasing
• Proficiency in relevant software applications including ERP systems
• Post-secondary education in a related field is preferred
• Experience with ROP/Kanban methodologies is advantageous
