MRO Supervisor

Position: Acara Solutions MRO Supervisor Role
Join Acara Solutions as an MRO Supervisor, focusing on procurement and operational efficiency to achieve corporate cost reduction goals. Work primarily in Stratford, Cambridge, or Guelph.

In this pivotal role, you'll optimize the supply of materials, repairs, and operating services. Your focus on cost-saving strategies and leadership of the Junior MRO Buyer will drive department objectives. Strong negotiation and analytical skills are essential to succeed in this dynamic position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain supplier relationships for MRO

• Support cost reduction and inventory rationalization initiatives

• Create RFQs and assess supplier performance metrics

• Implement purchasing policies for compliance and efficiency

• Develop and maintain an Approved Supplier list

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of Purchasing experience in manufacturing

• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory purchasing position

• Relevant post-secondary education preferred

• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office

• Experience in ROP/Kanban methodologies is a plus
