MRO Procurement Supervisor

Position: Acara Solutions MRO Procurement Supervisor
Lead inventory operations as an MRO Procurement Supervisor with Acara Solutions in Stratford, Cambridge, or Guelph. Oversee supplier relationships and enhance team performance.

Acara Solutions is looking for a dedicated MRO Procurement Supervisor to drive operational efficiency in their facilities. This pivotal role requires a minimum of five years in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management and strong leadership skills. You will negotiate contracts, support Junior MRO Buyers, and manage procurement processes to optimize inventory and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor Junior MRO Buyers for departmental effectiveness

• Prepare RFQs to assess and fulfill facility needs

• Analyze market trends to improve purchasing strategies

• Implement quality control and cost-saving measures

• Coordinate with Operations and Purchasing Manager for smooth operations

Requirements:

• 5 years' experience in Supply Chain Management required

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in MRO purchasing

• Familiarity with ERP systems and related software

• Preferred degree in a related field

• Knowledge of ROP/Kanban methodologies advantageous
