- Develop, analyze, document and validate business requirements and specifications for new or enhanced compensation plans.
- Build compensation models from scratch and run them to determine financial impacts of design changes.
- Provide advanced analytics to support senior leadership in data‑driven decisions.
- Participate in annual incentive compensation design reviews and update business tools and systems accordingly.
- Evaluate workflows and procedures, initiate process improvements and support the team in maintaining commitment to the change process.
- Deliver presentations to senior leadership outlining the impact of compensation changes and proposed adjustments.
- Five years of relevant experience in a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Excel, Tableau and Micro Strategy.
- Post‑secondary degree in a related discipline is an asset.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is an asset.
- Innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and influence change with a focus on client needs.
- Critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions and proactively propose solutions.
- Strong communication skills to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view.
- Ability to build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support colleague development.
- Coordinate end‑to‑end annual compensation cycle checkpoints, ensuring tight timeline management from review through to payout using strong project management and organizational discipline.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment, if selected.
Expected salary/hourly range $72,847–$121,411 (min‑max, full range).
Salary placementThe salary for the successful candidate is determined by Co‑operators in its discretion and will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job‑related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
Incentive/Variable payEmployees may also participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance or other business metrics.
