CGIC, a prominent financial services co-operative, is looking for an experienced Actuarial Consultant to join its Commercial and Farm Department. This position entails leading complex pricing projects, utilizing advanced analytical techniques, and coaching team members to promote a collaborative environment. Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of property and casualty insurance and relevant actuarial tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and innovate in rate change initiatives

• Manage rate filings and negotiations with regulators

• Work effectively with advanced modeling tools

• Analyze and address business partner requirements

• Mentor and coach team members to excel

Requirements:

• Degree in Mathematics or Actuarial related field

• At least 5 years of relevant actuarial experience

• Advanced skills in SQL, SAS, R, or Python

• Strong understanding of P&C insurance best practices

• Progress toward ACAS/FCAS or ACIA/FCIA is advantageous
