Position: Experienced Controller at A.O. Smith
A.O. Smith is looking for an Experienced Division Controller in hybrid mode from Fergus, Ontario. Focus on financial consolidation and internal controls in our multifaceted operations.

This key leadership role manages the financial activities across three manufacturing plants in Canada. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in financial reporting, internal control governance, and accounts payable. You will partner with finance and operations teams to facilitate accurate reporting and compliance, while also enhancing our processes through SAP and other financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the month-end financial reporting process

• Ensure internal controls are maintained and audits passed

• Administer warranty accounting and accuracy of claims

• Handle indirect tax compliance and reporting requirements

• Supervise cash management and financial risk oversight

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance

• Minimum of 8 years in a similar role

• Proficiency in consolidation and statutory reporting

• Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP

• Effective leadership and management skills
