Senior Actuarial Consultant at CGIC

As a key member of CGIC's Commercial and Farm Pricing team, you will leverage your actuarial expertise to enhance client experiences through innovative pricing solutions. With at least five years of relevant experience in the property and casualty field, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the pricing strategy and mentoring team members through coaching and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute rate change projects and actuarial model development

• Analyze business partner needs and design innovative pricing solutions

• Mentor team members and foster a positive work culture

• Collaborate with the Rating Systems team on pricing implementation

• Provide input to the Pricing leadership team on strategic direction

Requirements:

• Five years of property and casualty actuarial experience

• Post-secondary degree in Actuarial Science or related fields

• Expert in actuarial pricing principles and corporate concepts

• Strong analytical mindset to solve complex problems

• ACAS or FCAS designation is an asset
