OCAS Finance Lead

Position: OCAS Finance Lead Role
Lead finance operations at OCAS as a Finance Lead in Guelph, Ontario. Oversee accounting practices and mentor your team for effective financial planning and compliance.

This full-time permanent position focuses on day-to-day supervision of the Finance team, including a Financial Analyst and Accounting Specialist. You will work closely with the Director of Finance & Risk to optimize financial processes and internal controls. The role also includes managing month-end close, payroll processes, and financial reporting to guide organizational decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and supervise the Finance team daily

• Oversee month-end close and account reconciliations

• Validate and post payroll entries from Human Resources

• Maintain internal control frameworks and service contracts

• Prepare monthly financial reports for various stakeholders

Requirements:

• CPA designation required

• Post-secondary degree in accounting or finance

• 8 to 10 years of progressive finance experience

• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
