Location: EloraPosition Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Operations Supervisor(s) and/or Operations Manager(s), this position is responsible for daily cleaning and maintenance of all public areas while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Accountabilities
Vacuums hallways, ceiling vents, meeting rooms and general public areasCleans and dusts fixtures, ash urns, walls, linen rooms, signs, sconces, stairwells, door frames, public telephones, etc.Delivers housekeeping items to offices as requestedMaintains all housekeeping storage areasPolishes chrome and other materials requiring special careCleans officesLiaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departmentsDevelops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and team members)Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulationsPerforms other duties as assigned or directedEducation and Qualifications
High School DiplomaMinimum 1 year housekeeping/janitorial experienceAbility to successfully obtain a Gaming LicenseWork Environment Considerations
