University Humber Placement Coordinator

Enhance student success as the University of Guelph Humber's Placement Coordinator. This integral role includes workshop facilitation, employer marketing, and conducting labor market assessments both on-campus and remotely.

As the Field Placement Coordinator, you'll work closely under the Manager of Career & Placement Services. Your main duties will involve preparing students for placements, liaising with employers, and conducting effective outreach to recruit new opportunities. Your exceptional organizational and communication skills will play a vital role in connecting students with their future careers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate job search training for students

• Maintain relationships with field placement partners

• Conduct research on labor market trends

• Recruit new placement opportunities in the community

• Keep placement databases current and relevant

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Experienced in training and conflict resolution

• Excellent organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and under pressure
