Human Resources Generalist

Elevate HR practices with the Canadian Mental Health Association Waterloo Wellington as a Human Resources Generalist. Deliver responsive HR services and support across multiple teams in a full-time capacity.

This full-time role based in Guelph focuses on providing comprehensive HR support. As an HR Generalist, you will engage in talent acquisition, employee lifecycle administration, and leave management. Your expertise in employment legislation and HR best practices will help cultivate a positive workplace aligned with the organizational values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as primary contact for HR inquiries and guidance

• Support leaders in interpreting employment policies and agreements

• Administer payroll processes and maintain confidential employee records

• Manage leave requests and coordinate return-to-work plans

• Act as HRIS champion for data management and reporting

Requirements:

• Degree in Human Resources Management or related field

• CHRL designation or in progress

• 2–3 years of HR generalist experience

• Knowledge of Ontario employment legislation

• Strong organizational and communication skills
