Position: Senior Leadership Role in Recreation and Fitness
Drive the Athletics and Recreation Department at the University of Guelph as the Senior Director. Spearhead innovative programs aimed at enhancing student engagement and fostering a healthy campus environment.

In this senior role, you will report directly to the Vice-Provost for Student Affairs and play a vital part in strategic planning and resource management. You will oversee a large team, manage financial operations, and promote a thriving sports culture that supports diverse student needs on campus. Your commitment to inclusivity and student development will be key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership in managing recreational and fitness initiatives

• Ensure financial accountability and effective resource deployment

• Promote and oversee student-athlete health and safety programs

• Engage with community stakeholders for enhanced outreach

• Develop and implement equity and inclusion strategies

Requirements:

• Extensive management experience in sports services

• Background in handling budgets over $14 million

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in sports environments

• Experience in fostering inclusive team dynamics

• Proven leadership in equity-related policy implementation
