Position: City Project Management Role
Enhance project management practices with the City of Guelph as a Project Management Specialist in a dynamic, hybrid role. Collaborate with departments to drive strategic outcomes and community goals.

In this temporary full-time position, you'll be integral to the City’s Project Management Office. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive frameworks and guidelines, providing essential training, and assisting in creating key project documentation. You'll play a vital role in ensuring that project management practices align with the City of Guelph’s vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and update project management frameworks and tools

• Support city departments with project management methodologies

• Train teams on risk management and project planning

• Create reports, schedules, and risk registers for projects

• Participate in internal benchmarking and improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Experience in project management with a related degree

• PMP certification preferred for this role

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and relevant project software

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
