University Laboratory Services Director

As the Co-Executive Director of the Laboratory Services Division, you will oversee both the Animal Health Laboratory and Agriculture & Food Laboratory. With broad management responsibilities, you will ensure the division's operational and financial success while fostering a culture of exemplary client service. You'll work to deliver vital health surveillance data that supports the agricultural community in Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct management of AHL and AFL labs

• Lead a professional team of 120 staff members

• Manage the laboratory's budget and finances

• Ensure quality service delivery and compliance

• Collaborate with industry partners for effective lab services

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent

• Doctoral degree in a relevant discipline

• Minimum nine years of relevant operational experience

• Strong knowledge of agricultural health issues

• Excellent presentation and leadership skills
