In this executive position, you will oversee the operations of the Animal Health Laboratory while ensuring high operational standards and financial sustainability. With a commitment to exceptional service, you will work within the frameworks set by industry stakeholders and governmental bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure operational success of the Laboratory Services Division
• Manage a substantial budget while ensuring sustainability
• Direct client service initiatives and laboratory operations
• Foster partnerships with agricultural and veterinary stakeholders
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 120 professionals
Requirements:
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent required
• Doctoral degree in veterinary laboratory science preferred
• At least nine years of progressive management experience
• Experience with accreditation and quality assurance processes
• Strong financial management and leadership capabilities
Elevate veterinary diagnostics and support agricultural health as part of your impactful leadership role at the University of Guelph.
