About the Role

We are currently looking for a Fall Marketing Intern to fill a vacancy in our Marketing Team. Reporting to our Tour & Event Specialist, you will bring an interest in marketing, event planning, and creating memorable experiences. You will help plan and bring to life company tours, visits, and exciting events that showcase our genetics, facilities, people, and the Semex brand, learning how events come together from start to finish.

What You Will Do:

Assist in coordinating international guest visits to Canada, including headquarters tours and hosted delegations.

Assist with travel arrangements, schedules, accommodations, and on-site coordination.

Support corporate events and conferences.

Work with vendors, internal teams, and senior leaders to make events run smoothly.

Contribute to creating timelines, run-of-show plans, and post-event follow-ups.

What You’ll Learn:

Real-world experience in marketing, event planning, and guest experience management.

How to manage multiple projects and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Communication and collaboration skills while working with teams across the company.

What You Need to Succeed:

Currently enrolled, or recently graduated from a Marketing, Communications, or related post-secondary program.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Energetic, eager to learn, and ready to jump in and help when needed.

Work Location, Hours & Pay Rate:

This role is a full‑time contract position from August through November,2026. This position is a 35-hour work week, Monday through Friday and requires 5 days per week in our Guelph location with a starting wage of $25.00 per hour.
