Children & Family Ministries Pastor

The Children’s Pastor is responsible for the growth and development of Parkview Kids Ministry (ages 0-11). We believe that the next generation is a vital part of Parkview Church. We want to see our kids thrive and be rooted in Jesus. We have a robust team of volunteer leaders (50+) and helpers who support this ministry. A vital aspect of this role is to coordinate and pastor the team i.e. to train and support those volunteers ensuring that Parkview’s Protection Policy and criminal record checks are completed as required.

You will be part of a team that encourages fresh, imaginative ways for the children to encounter God in prayer, worship and the Word; fostering a culture of discipleship and evangelism. The Children’s Pastor will foster vision for a spirit-filled ministry.

• Coordinate and pastor the volunteer team supporting Parkview Kids Ministry; train and support volunteers ensuring that Parkview’s Protection Policy and criminal record checks are completed as required.
• Encourage fresh, imaginative ways for children to encounter God in prayer, worship and the Word; foster a culture of discipleship and evangelism.
• Foster vision for a spirit-filled ministry within Parkview Kids Ministry.

• Ability to manage teams and multitask
• An excellent communicator (verbal & written)
• A confident leader, comfortable in leading meetings and small groups
• Strong organizational and administrative skills

• Desired: A theological education from a PAOC accredited Bible college or seminary
• Desired: PAOC Credentials (or the ability to be credentialed)
