As a Board Member, you will dedicate 4+ hours per month toward vital meetings and community events. Our ideal candidates possess skills in finance, governance, HR, fundraising, or advocacy. This position allows you to influence and shape the organization’s strategic direction over a minimum two-year term.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer governance and oversight to our strategic initiatives

• Attend and contribute to board meetings effectively

• Participate in various committees to impact decision-making

• Represent Compass at community engagements and events

• Support policy and procedure development for organizational success

Requirements:

• Experience in finance, governance, or HR preferred

• Knowledge of community services and direct service delivery

• Commitment for at least two years on the board

• Engage with diverse community perspectives and needs

• Open to individuals with lived experiences as well
