As a key member of the Alumni Affairs & Development team, you'll cultivate lasting connections with alumni and donors to support the university's funding goals. Your work will directly influence initiatives aimed at improving the student experience through philanthropic initiatives. The role demands strong communication skills and strategic engagement to foster significant gifts ranging from $25,000 to $500,000.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and cultivate major donors through personalized strategies
• Maintain a portfolio of 80-100 prospects with face-to-face meetings
• Prepare briefings for senior university fundraising efforts
• Collaborate with campus partners to develop impactful proposals
• Partner on initiatives that align fundraising with student goals
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree with two years of fundraising experience
• Preference for candidates with CFRE designation
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and donor databases
• Availability for some evening and weekend events
Drive impactful fundraising and enhance campus experiences at the University of Guelph.
