This temporary full-time role, available from August 3, 2026, to August 3, 2027, seeks an experienced fundraiser to advance philanthropic goals. The Development Manager will personally solicit donations ranging from $25,000 to $500,000 while managing a donor portfolio of 80-100 prospects. This position works to enhance student life and athletics, aligning donor interests with university objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and cultivate potential donors through the fundraising cycle
• Maintain a portfolio of 80-100 cleared donors/prospects
• Prepare materials for senior administration's fundraising efforts
• Collaborate with partners to advance key philanthropic initiatives
• Represent AA&D at events and donor engagement activities
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree with two years of fundraising experience
• CFRE designation preferred
• Strong communication skills in writing and in-person
• Effective team collaboration and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Drive impactful change by engaging with donors and enhancing the campus experience through philanthropic contributions at the University of Guelph.
