Engagement and Development Officer

Position: Engagement and Development Officer ON
Be part of the University of Guelph’s mission by becoming an Engagement and Development Officer. This pivotal role supports fundraising efforts for the Ontario Agricultural College, focusing on raising $75 million annually.

Located in Guelph, this temporary full-time position will have you supporting the fundraising team administratively while actively managing the college's awards portfolio. You will coordinate donor engagements and plan events that celebrate and recognize contributions to the college. Excellent communication and strategic planning skills are crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative assistance for fundraising activities

• Manage undergraduate, graduate, and award portfolios

• Engage with donors for relationship-building

• Execute stewardship events and initiatives

• Assist the Engagement Manager in stewardship activities

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in a related discipline

• 4–6 years in fundraising or alumni relations

• Expertise in event coordination and planning

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills
