Engagement & Development Officer Position

Drive alumni relations at the University of Guelph as an Engagement and Development Officer. This temporary full-time role involves overseeing donor relations and managing award portfolios.

The officer will enhance the university’s fundraising capacity, aligning donor interests with strategic initiatives. Your background of 4-6 years in alumni relations or fundraising will facilitate effective stewardship and event management, essential as the university embarks on its next major campaign.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the fundraising team with administrative tasks

• Coordinate stewardship activities for donors

• Manage award portfolio for undergraduate and graduate students

• Foster donor engagement and communication

• Execute stewardship events for alumni

Requirements:

• Relevant undergraduate degree required

• 4-6 years of experience in fundraising or alumni relations

• Proven event planning and coordination skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database use

• Strong judgment and analytical skills
