Serve meals and beverages as a permanent part-time Food Service Aide at Arbour Trails in Guelph, working onsite from 4:30 to 8:00 pm.
Schlegel Villages seeks two Food Service Aides for its retirement community. The work includes resident-focused meal service, safe food handling, catering support, and dining room cleanliness. Caring service, time management, collaboration, and a valid Food Handlers certification are central to this position.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve meals and beverages according to resident diets
- Follow safe and sanitary food handling techniques
- Assist with catering functions and events
- Maintain clean dining rooms and work spaces
- Deliver resident-centered customer service
- Valid Food Handlers certification
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Exceptional time management skills
- Ability to collaborate with a team
- Acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check and Tuberculosis screening
