The successful candidate will collaborate closely with all teams, including members of Global Regulatory, Clinical Trials and Product Certifications, as well as all other members of the sales team. This role also partners with Marketing to elevate service offering awareness and visibility across the nutraceutical sector.
The Verification Programs Sales Associate is responsible for full-cycle sales and account management for SGS Nutrasource’s portfolio of assigned accounts. This role focuses on management of the Amazon Verification Program and will work closely with the Global Regulatory Operational team to fulfil incoming requests.
Primary Responsibilities- Drive full-cycle sales of Amazon Verification services.
- Proactively manage and grow the Amazon Verification services account portfolio to achieve annual sales targets.
- Cross-sell SGS Nutrasource’s broader service offerings and coordinate with other sales representatives as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, retailers, and key industry influencers.
- Partner with operations teams to support handoffs and ensure client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with Marketing to develop and execute initiatives that enhance the visibility and demand for regulatory services.
- Provide market intelligence and client feedback to support continuous improvement of services.
- Work collaboratively with other sales representatives to ensure seamless communication and full-service visibility for existing client portfolio.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities within the CRM system.
- Prepare sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance updates as required.
- Ensure compliance with SGS Nutrasource processes, pricing structures, and contractual standards.
- Self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong motivation to exceed targets.
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Comfortable collaborating across multifunctional teams.
- Motivated by performance-based reward systems.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- CRM experience such as Salesforce, Hub Spot, or equivalent (not mandatory).
- Post Secondary Degree (not mandatory for candidates with prior sales experience)
- Proven track record of success in sales. 1-3 years minimum.
- Prior experience in nutraceutical/dietary supplement industry, food & beverage or online consumer sales is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of standard sales processes, account management best practices, and CRM usage.
- Ability to identify, qualify, and prioritize business opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience cold-calling, prospecting, and growing new business pipelines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in-person and virtual.
