MACHINIST / ACCOUNT MANAGER

LOCATION: Guelph, ON

SALARY RANGE: $70,000 – $80,000 plus bonus

We are currently supporting a growing and highly respected organization within the industrial and manufacturing sector as they look to hire a Machinist / Account Manager for their Guelph team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands‑on machining or manufacturing experience who is looking to transition into a customer‑facing technical sales role. Our client is open to training the right individual on the sales side.

This role combines technical expertise with account management and business development responsibilities, making it ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their career beyond the shop floor.

What Will You Do?
  • Manage and grow an existing customer base within the assigned territory
  • Develop new business opportunities within manufacturing and machining environments
  • Build strong relationships with customers through technical expertise and responsive service
  • Conduct needs analyses and recommend cost‑effective technical solutions
  • Provide technical product support and troubleshooting assistance
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and customers to evaluate products and applications
  • Travel within the Guelph and surrounding territory to meet with customers
What Do You Bring?
  • Hands‑on machining experience or background within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of cutting tools, metalworking, CNC machining, or industrial tooling is considered a strong asset
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Interest in moving into a technical sales/account management career path
  • Team‑oriented mindset with a positive attitude
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within territory
