Outside Sales Representative

Our client is a leading Canadian distributor renowned of HVAC and plumbing goods known for their extensive network, diversified portfolio, wide selection of products and exceptional service.
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Sales Representative to support continued growth and expansion across the Western region. This role is ideal for a technically minded sales professional with strong industry knowledge and a proven ability to grow accounts, develop new business, and build long-term customer relationships within the Hydronics, Plumbing, and HVAC markets.

The Job- Manage and grow an established customer base across the Western region
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities and sales channels
- Promote a range of Hydronics, Plumbing, and HVAC products and solutions
- Identify opportunities to increase customer spend, market share, and product penetration
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service and responsiveness
- Implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets
- Provide customers with product updates, promotions, and program information
- Collaborate with Branch Managers, Quotations, and internal teams to support customer needs
- Coordinate accurate pricing, quotations, and order information
- Assist with resolving service and collection-related issues when required
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
- Participate in industry associations, networking opportunities, and events
- Maintain regular communication with Sales Management regarding territory performance and strategy
- Minimum 5 years of successful technical sales experience
- Strong knowledge in at least two of the following product categories:
Hydronics, Plumbing, HVAC - Proven ability to generate new business and grow existing accounts
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented
- Ability to manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced sales environment
- Strong presentation and customer service skills
- Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent industry experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Valid driver’s license

Salary: $60-70k base salary + commission incentive + annual bonus potential
