Position: Contract Geologist at Axis Geoscience Ltd.
Take on the role of a Contract Geologist at Axis Geoscience Ltd. and advance mineral exploration efforts across Canada. This position involves field exploration, geological mapping, and supporting drilling activities in remote terrains.

This four-month contract role is pivotal in executing effective exploration programs focused on hard-rock geology. You will oversee field operations, ensure data accuracy, and maintain strong safety and compliance standards. Collaborating with a dedicated team, your work will include sample management, geological assessments, and technical reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute geological mapping and exploration fieldwork

• Supervise drill activities and manage sample collection

• Maintain accurate drill and core records

• Ensure QA/QC procedures are consistently met

• Develop exploration models and technical documentation

Requirements:

• Strong experience in geological mapping and prospecting

• Familiarity with drilling supervision and sample handling

• Knowledge of hard-rock exploration principles

• Proficient in geological software such as Leapfrog

• Ability to work independently in remote locations
