Lead Senior Ecologist

Position: Lead Senior Ecologist with CIMA+

CIMA+ is looking for a Natural Environment Team Lead to spearhead projects that prioritize ecological and social benefits.  Leveraging your 10+ years of environmental consulting experience, you will oversee technical reviews and support the team’s development. This role encompasses managing logistics, monitoring performance, and engaging in cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct senior technical reviews of ecological documents

• Oversee federal and provincial environmental permits

• Collaborate on proposal preparation and strategic alignment

• Manage team scheduling and training for professional growth

• Perform site visits to ensure compliance with HSE standards

Requirements:

• At least 10 years’ experience in environmental consulting

• Degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or equivalent experience

• Expertise in project and personnel management

• Familiarity with environmental policies and legislation

• Bilingual in French and English is advantageous
