SiREM Laboratory Internship

We are looking for an enthusiastic intern for a 40-hour per week role at our cutting-edge lab, with a commitment of 13 to 15 weeks in fall 2026. This role is ideal for those enrolled in a co-op program, allowing you to gain hands-on experience in laboratory operations, including probe analyses and sample preparation, contributing to innovative remediation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support testing procedures and laboratory maintenance

• Measure and analyze samples using laboratory techniques

• Prepare samples and run tests on groundwater and soil

• Write reports and graphs detailing test outcomes

• Maintain cleanliness and calibration of lab instruments

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in biotechnology or a related field

• Basic knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques

• Experience with pH and ORP measurement

• Familiarity with standard operating procedures

• Expertise in laboratory documentation and Excel
