Who We Are:
We're a small team in Guelph building custom cabinetry and millwork for interior designers, architects, and private clients across the GTA, Guelph, and Collingwood. Most of our projects are residential. The kitchens, libraries, and built‑ins we make are designed by people who care about the details, and we build to that level. The shop is well‑equipped and organized. You'll work directly with the project manager and the rest of the shop team.
The Opportunity:This role combines shop fabrication with on‑site installation work. You'll spend most of your time in the shop building custom cabinetry and millwork for design‑led residential projects across the GTA, Guelph, and Collingwood. Roughly a quarter of your time will be on site, leading or supporting installations. Site work isn't an afterthought here. Strong installers are the reason our finished work looks the way it does.
We're looking for someone who is equally confident at the bench and at a job site.
- Fabricate and assemble custom cabinetry and millwork components from shop drawings
- Lead or support on‑site installations, including scribing, hardware installation, and final fit work
- Read shop drawings and production documentation accurately, including Mozaik output
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools with precision and safety
- Hold tight tolerances on reveals, alignments, and overall fit
- Troubleshoot site conditions and make adjustments that protect the integrity of the finished work
- Work alongside the project manager, finisher, and shop team through each project
- Hands‑on experience in custom cabinetry, millwork, or furniture making
- Solid installation experience, including scribing, levelling, and finish carpentry adjustments on site
- Strong knowledge of frameless and/or face‑frame construction methods
- Ability to read shop drawings accurately and build from them without supervision
- Experience with European hardware systems (Blum, Salice, Hettich or similar)
- Confidence working in occupied homes and on active job sites
- Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable transportation (some sites are 1 to 2 hours from the shop)
- Experience with Italian or European cabinetry systems
- Experience leading or mentoring junior shop staff
- CNC familiarity
- Hourly wage starting at $26, based on experience
- Healthcare Spending Account
- Mileage reimbursement for site travel
- Company events
- Paid Vacation
- Statutory holidays off
- Professional development
- Meal allowance while travelling
- A well‑equipped shop and a small, focused team

From $26.00 per hour
