Hours and Location

Monday to Friday, 2 PM – 11 PM

The normal setting for this job is a repair / maintenance shop at our Mount‑Forest Hauling site.

Job Description

As a 310T Mechanic, you’ll fix the trucks and equipment that serve over 20 million customers across North America. You’ll use modern tools and procedures to deliver exceptional maintenance on diesel equipment and, at some locations, on our growing fleet of CNG trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
  • Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
  • Perform work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
  • Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
  • Conduct safety checks on vehicles – safety is our number one priority.
  • Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and accounting for repair times.
  • Assist senior mechanics in the completion of project work.
  • Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Qualifications
  • Licensed 310T Mechanic
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Over 18 years of age
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Successfully complete and pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical examination

The expected base pay rate for this position in Canada is $50.50/h. This rate is a good faith estimate and may be influenced by factors such as relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
