Position Overview

The 310T Mechanic position is a full‑time role at our Mount‑Forest Hauling site, responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel trucks and equipment that serve over 20 million customers across North America.

Pay and Benefits
  • Hourly pay: $50.50/h

Work Hours and Location

Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The role is based in a repair/maintenance shop at the Mount‑Forest Hauling site.

Job Responsibilities
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
  • Estimate time and material costs for vehicle repairs and new parts.
  • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
  • Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
  • Conduct safety checks and document parts usage and repair times.
  • Assist senior mechanics in project work.
  • Review and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards.
Qualifications
  • Licensed 310T Mechanic.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Must be over 18 years of age.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Successful completion of pre‑employment drug screen and physical.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing.

  • Work in indoor garage/shop and outdoor conditions, including inclement weather, heat, and humidity.
